ONTOLOGY OF DIGITAL PLATFORMS IN THE LIGHT OF THE PROBLEM OF CIVIL LIABILITY OF THEIR SUBJECTS

ABSTRACT
The article is devoted to the study of the ontology of digital platforms in the context of the problem of civil liability of their subjects. It explains that platforms are not only technological intermediaries, but also an independent environment for the implementation of civil circulation, which has a high degree of control over the behavior of participants. The article analyzes the process of transformation of subjectivity in the digital space, as well as the phenomenon of the "ontological gap" between the actual role of platforms and their legal qualification. The article concludes that it is necessary to expand the civil liability of platforms, including the possibility of applying the principle of "innocent liability".
