ABSTRACT
Using the examples of the legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan, the article provides an overview of changes in the legislation on legal entities with state participation and their commercial associations, reveals some gaps and conflicts in legislation and law practice, and suggests the ways to eliminate them.
